Where is Barbados?

Barbados is located towards the very tail end of the Caribbean island chain, right before it ends into South America. It is outside the

hurricane zone, making Barbados very unlikely to experience any major tropical storms of that nature. Barbados is a very laid-back, friendly

The historic capitol of Barbados is Bridgetown, with its buildings & historic sites from the 1700's & 1800's... much trading & commerce has gone on here for several

Yes, George moved here with his brother as a young man to seek a better climate for his brother's health (who, sadly, passed away in Barbados not long thereafter).

About the resort:  

The Almond Casuarina Beach Resort in Barbados is a 4-star beachfront all-inclusive resort set on 10 acres along a long stretch of

gorgeous white sand beach near the most "happening" area of Barbados called St. Lawrence Gap (best beach, & where you want to be

for nightlife & shopping!) directly on Dover Beach & fronting the beautiful Caribbean Sea, less than 10 minutes from the airport. The resort has

an open-air, plantation-style lobby with fountains & gardens, & then spills out to the most breathtaking jungle-like gardens that wind

throughout the resort. At the Almond Casuarina, you’ll be able to enjoy 3 restaurants (including additional dining privileges at

2 other Almond Resorts), 5 bars/lounges (including on-site nightclub/disco),3 pools (garden pool, & then larger oceanfront pool with

bridge crossing & swim-up bar, & beach/pool drink service, & a whole host of hotel activities such as hobie cat sailing, kayaking,

The resort is a traditional design where the resort is built along the beach (instead of away from it... no 10-15 minute hike from your

Rooms all have 1 king bed (extra rollaway or sofabed available, depending on room type), upgraded bedding/linens,

CHANGEABLE (a change is considered a cancellation). Travel insurance of $99- $129 per person (covering

medical/emergency cancellations only, restrictions apply) is strongly recommended but not included, due at time of deposit.

passport must be good for at least 6 months after return date home & must have at least one blank page left in it for stamping

purposes. If you are not a U.S. citizen, please check with your country’s consulate as to what is required for your travel.

Due to changing laws & regulations, travelers are responsible for checking on & obtaining proper documentation

& identification necessary for their travel.

By law, travelers are required to check in at LEAST 2 hours prior to departure time at the airport... failure to check in by this time

(checking in late) may forfeit ALL your travel with no refunds or compensation given. Due to heavier security measures & a lengthy

check-in process at the airport, please arrive at the airport early, both on outbound & return flights, to allow ample time for the whole check-in

process... if you check in late, the airline will cancel your space & refuse boarding, & you will be paying penalties to change your

tickets or buying new tickets to get home. BE EARLY! The above travel requirements & regulations are mandatory...  no refunds or

compensation will be made due to non-compliance with these above government regulations & denied boarding as a result.
